Texas A&M’s Donovan Wilson worked out Monday at the NFL Combine, the final day of the four-day event. Wilson’s best event was a 36-inch vertical jump, ranking fourth among safeties.
Seven other Aggies had previously worked out.
A&M center Erik McCoy’s 4.89-second time in the 40 topped the offensive linemen, and he was sixth in bench press reps (29). Kingsley Keke had a Top 10 time (4.95) among the defensive linemen. Fellow defensive lineman Daylon Mack had a good time (5.11) for a guy at 336 pounds, and he had 30 bench reps to be fifth. Otaro Alaka had the best broad jump (131 inches) of any linebacker, and Tyrel Dodson was in the Top 10 of the group in the 40 (4.61). Running back Trayveon Williams ran 4.51 in the 40, good for ninth in his group. Tight end Jace Sternberger had four Top 10 marks, topped by seventh in the 20-yard shuttle (4.31), though his 40 time of 4.75 was a downer, ranking 12th.
